This was definitely something that I would normally read. Despite that, I’m very glad that I did!
A friend actually recommended this book to me, so if it wasn’t for that I probably would have never picked it up. It has a very different country music background, and I had never read a book like that before. (WOW this month was full of books with plots I hadn’t read before!)
I’m not usually into that kind of book, but I decided to give it a chance. It was a relaxing Sunday afternoon and so I thought, why not try this book now? As soon as I started it I was addicted, and before I knew it, four hours had passed and I finished the book!
The characters had such amazing character development, yet they still had the same roots of their personalities. In every chapter, we would learn more and more about the characters and their feelings!
Erin Hahn did a stunning job in building her characters, especially Clay, who we see as this “bad boy” in the beginning but slowly learn he’s so much more.
This was a great Sunday afternoon read, and I’m so thrilled that I went out of my normal bubble of books. I should do that more often!
